Grease Interceptors
Underground and aboveground grease interceptors are commonly used in commercial kitchen design applications to collect fats, oils and greases (FOG) before they enter a wastewater disposal system. Regulations are increasingly mandating their use as an important step in improving municipal wastewater treatment plant efficiency. Their use is also important in removing FOG from the waste stream of a commercial onsite wastewater system.
Features of ZCL grease interceptor tanks include:
- Capacity – When utilizing a ZCL storage tank, you can install one tank to meet your capacity needs without stringing together multiple tanks and manifold piping.
- Corrosion Resistance – The interior of grease interceptors is a very corrosive environment. Fibreglass is the ideal combination of structural strength and corrosion resistance necessary in a grease interceptor design.
- Design Flexibility – Our interceptors come in a wide range of sizes and design options whether its H-20 traffic loading, baffles or an IAPMO listed model.
